Pontian @ SS15, Subang Jaya

Sorry for the lack of update, had been busy these days. I had never heard of Pontian, which is a town located in Johor until i went to this restaurant. Its not hard to find this restaurant, just few shops beside Salmon Steak or opposite of the old Taylor's Business School (blue building).

Those noodles are hand made and no preservative added.

The places is packed with people although it was newly opened. The environment reminded me of my childhood, during my kindergarten days with those colourful chairs.

Pontian Wanton Noodle (Rm 4 for small, Rm 6 for big). Since the common wantan mee is mixed with black sauce, so i ordered something a little different, with black and spicy sauce. It tasted so delicious, the noodles are just nice. The dumpling was very crispy. I think this bowl of noodle stands out because they added lard which enhance the taste a lot.

Curry Laksa (Rm 4.50), taste wise was pretty normal. This was the first time i see a laksa that added herbs on top.

Noodles was somehow like those you used for asam laksa. Didn't like it though.
