大人餐厅 Esquire Kichen @ Tropicana City Mall

I always love eating 大人餐厅, Esquire Kitchen during my childhood. The first Esquire was opened in Atria, Damansara Jaya. I believe those who are around my age and stay in PJ during childhood, will definitely tried the Esquire in Atria.

I remember that i used to ask my mom to bring me for dinner in that restaurant. One week At Least once! Although we always ordered the same thing, but I love the food very much back then, exclude the noodles. Every time we go for dinner, we have to queue up.. long queue!!

Till, when Esquire was taken over by a company and merge with Nam Heong(another place where chicken rice was the best, back then, it was the past already). The standard dropped badly for both restaurant and we did not go there anymore.

5 years later, i went back to Atria, could still see some of the waitress that used to serve us, they're aged already.. Sat down with my mom, ordered back the same thing, it did not have the taste back then, too salty/overcooked. *sigh*. As i can remember, few weeks later, i went to the Esquire in Subang Parade.

Yet, another big disappointment. I'm not going back there anymore.
Till recently, when i read the newspaper, noticed that Esquire just opened in Tropicana City Mall. Decided to give it a chance, since its newly opened.

The new atmosphere, no longer have the 'old' feel.

There's alot of people having their dinner here compared to Esquire in Atria.

干扁四季豆, too salty. But it taste ok.

小龍包, skin was kinda tough/dry. Don't compare with Dragon-I. There's no soup inside. An ancient 小龍包.

麻婆豆腐, the chilly taste totally cover the sauce's taste

That's the dish i usually/always order. There's still one more dish which is 蚂蚁上树, funny name right? Its a dish where 冬粉 is cooked with taucu and chilly. But that day the dish is out of stock.

The service was disappointing. We changed our seats to the sofa after ordering and told one of the waiter. When the food came, the waiter stare at our previous table and went to the kitchen when we keep calling him. Only he realize. 2nd and consequent dish also same thing, different waiter, doing same thing.

Would come here for the 2nd time, disappointed by the service.

Murni Discovery @ Aman Suria

I shall jumble up the times i went to Murni Discovery in 2 weeks.

1st trip to Murni Discovery:
Went to Murni with michelle at night for our dinner. As after that we're suppose to take a video for my friend's birthday present(a wish from everyone in the video).

There's this drink called Poison. Anyone ready to suicide is encourage to try this.

Monkey Favourite?? Special. I love the name. It's actually Banana Special which i tried before in SS2.

Michelle's Roti Hawaii - Rm 5. Very yummy.. It contains sausage&pineapple!

My Meatball Carbonara . Cheesy meatballs, very filling~ but too much pepper..urghh..but the meatballs are good. If you don have a good appetite, not adviseable to order this.

Our beverage, Mango Special and Pink Panther. Mango Special wasn't nice, Mayang's one is alot nicer. Pink Panther(behind) is a mixture of banana and strawberry, I love it, so i reco to her.

Location: Try to locate fewlandmarks. Opposite of Seremban Hakka Mee. Below a Snooker Centre.

and opposite of Restoran Tai Sec.

2nd trip to Murni Discovery:
Cryo called and we went to Murni for supper.

In the 1st trip, i sat outside, but this time,we sat inside.

My banana in pyjamas! This is Monkey's Favourite Special

Nic's Roti Hawaii, on the previous photo, you only see external. Now you can see the internal organs.

Cryo's Seafood Sphaggethi, alot vege, very spicy too!

My costly little thing - Rm12. Chicken Napolean. Not really worth the price for the size.
But its worth for the taste. Its sausage wrap with cheese ham and chicken. Much similar to Chicken Cordon bleu.

3rd trip to Murni Discovery:
Another time for supper with Jack.

Wanted to try something new, so i ordered Kiwi Special. Which has awful taste. Jack claimed that it taste like toilet cleaning water.

Jack's Syrup bandung panas. Even the waitress asked "Syrup bandung panas?Ada ke?" This is the first time seeing this.

Roti Beckam was not bad, Hawaii tasted better for me. Contains tuna fish, onion and ham.

We called for Mee Raja but they ran out of it. So we called Nasi Goreng Bacon. Which turns out to be not bad. The bad part about it is just the vege is bitter.

Mediterranean @ SS15, Subang

Saw this place when i passed by Taylor's main campus during my holidays. Jack told me the previous night that the lamb in this places is good. So my classmate, Dayal and i finished class and had trouble finding a place for lunch. So, suggested that we go MED.

Located just opposite of Taylor's main campus. This restaurant replaced Little Taiwan.

We get to know that they are McD's branch. Just kidding.

I did not try their lamb, don't wan to order to same dish. So i tried the fish & chips which was thumbsdown. It was those frozen fish and chips from the supermarkets.

The Shirksh Kebab. The lamb was indeed good. Took a small piece and, yum! Well marinated and with the taste of capsicum.

They served with fried, 1 preserved chilly?, tomato sauce(homemade)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST.. THE NO STOCK drink. See it? I bet you do. Durian Juice!

Kitchen Creatures @ Centrepoint, Bandar Utama

Bored with P.J's food and couldn't decide where to have our dinner. Since chen suddenly said his mom wanted him to go home for dinner. Jack and I are left behind =( Then we saw there's a newly opened restaurant in Centrepoint, Kitchen Creatures. So we decided to give it a try.

They have this cute little devil as their logo, at far i thought it was a lizard!

Read this! Its hilarious, i just love their style. Just click to enlarge it.

The best thing about this place is that you need not need to pay for tax/service charge.

Love their way of decorating with those nice round lamps.

My carbonara wasn't good, they overcook the spaghetti thus making it very soft.

The beef stew taste good! But the bread did not pass.

Stroganoff. Served with fragrant rice and beef (Capsicum, onion, mushroom, beef). The smell of capsicum with the beef and sauce was the perfect match.

Cheese Omelet

Was so hungry that i decided to try something i never try before.Making Cheese Omelet.

1) 2 Eggs + pinch of salt 2) 2 piece of cheese 3) Oregano

The sinful amount of cheese..

Failed in wrapping up..Put some Oregano(your choice of herb) to enhance the smell.

And its ready to serve.. =)

Curry Laksa & Beef Noodle @ Kuala Lumpur

Venture to K.L for food in the afternoon with Jack and his family. Went to 中華行(zhong hua hang) for curry laksa. They claimed that its the best non halal curry laksa you can get. 中華行 is located just beside Petaling Street.

The cendol was mouth watering. It is soft with the strong taste of Gula Melaka.

The curry laksa with siew yuk and pork skin. Yummy! Just that i don't really like eating the raw long beans.

We then went for the 2nd round, 新九如(xin jiu ru) opposite of Kota raya. Ate this since i was secondary and I'm still loving it.

A bowl of mixes.
